Visual Design & Aesthetics

• Pattern: This rug features a stippled, abstract design that mimics the look of ageing plaster or dunes. The “distress” is concentrated in large, cloud-like clusters of colour, leaving bright ivory “negative space” that makes the rug feel light and airy despite its rich accents.

• Texture: The visual texture is mottled and granular. Because the colours are so finely blended, they create a “soft focus” look that is very forgiving of daily wear and tear.

Colour Palette

The AN03 leans into a sophisticated, warm-neutral palette:

• Primary Base: A crisp ivory and creamy white, which acts as a bright canvas for the darker tones.

• Accent Tones: Rich shades of honey-gold, amber, and light rust. These tones pick up the warmth of wooden floors and can be easily tied into furniture accents, like the ochre velvet cushion shown on the sofa.

• Depth: Subtle hints of tan and camel are used to bridge the gap between the dark amber and the light ivory, creating a natural gradient.

Material & Construction

• Composition: A high-performance blend of Polyester and Polypropylene.

  • The Polypropylene ensures the rug is tough, shed-resistant, and easy to clean (liquid spills tend to bead on the surface rather than soak in immediately).

  • The Polyester adds a delicate silk-like shimmer, making the gold tones look more vibrant when they catch the sunlight.

• Pile Height: At 7mm, it maintains a refined low pile.

  • Practicality: This height is the “sweet spot” for modern living. It’s plush enough to feel soft under bare feet but thin enough to avoid becoming a trip hazard or interfering with door clearances.
